Nepalese Blue Bamboo

Nepalese Blue Bamboo gets its name from its origin and the powdered coating on its culms, giving them a distinctive blue hue. It prefers protection from hot afternoon sun.
At certain times of the year, Nepalese Blue Bamboo and Himalayan Weeping can be hard to distinguish. However, Nepalese Blue is slightly more sun-tolerant, grows taller and more upright, and develops thicker culms.
Nepalese Blue Bamboo typically reaches 3.5 meters in most conditions.
